Disconnect the battery, go do something else for a few minutes, come back and flip the headlights on and off a couple times. Re-connect the battery. Your computer is reset. Clearing the codes won't fix the problem. What are the codes? Probably several little things that are conspiring to cause the problem.

I know it wont fix anything but it will cause the computer to reset and when it does it again it should be the first couple of codes to show up.. right now it has several different ones.. i think i will be investing in a code reader... also because some will not show up thru the check engine light... But thanks for the help
