Yeah the one we used to have was total crap and all overpriced. We got a new one about a year ago and its pretty nice. Now i gotta run up there at least every other week to see if they have anything i need lol

Well its been a while since ive posted cause ive been so busy. But in the mean time I got my homemade 2'' body lift put on, and Im in it less than 100$. All the hardware was about 35$ and my lift blocks (hockey pucks) were 40$.

BEFORE

AFTER

Here are a couple pics of the process

I cut my own brackets to raise the front bumper out of some metal I had laying around.

Welded them onto the frame

Got dark on me last night so I havent put the bumper back on yet, And I still have to raise the rear bumper. The intermediate shaft was just a shade too short so I needed a steering extension, Until I priced one $125. So I decided to figure some way to extend it myself.

Drilled the rivets out

Got tired of laying in the floorboard trying to work, so I just took the shaft out.

Got some bolts and washers and put it all back together.

Works like a champ! And only cost $2!!

This evening I will put the front bumper back on and start on the rear bumper. So far im pretty happy with the whole thing.

Thanks man, I was a bit skeptical about the the pucks at first but as far as I can tell they work just as well as actual lift blocks

Id do it, but I don't have access to a welder to lift my bumper. and I can't buy bumper lift brackets, cause mines all custom up there. I'd have to lengthen em and make them taller.

one day! its definitely on the list along with bigger tires.

Ive just got a $100 welder from Harbor Fright, its insane hard to weld a decent bead with it, I guess cause its so cheap, but they are plenty strong so as long as its covered up it doesnt bother me. Just a suggestion

I got the front bumper raised up and put back on, decided to leave the rear bumper where it sits, just gonna make a filler piece to make it look a little better. Washed and waxed it and took some pics.
