Default Converting a SC from 08 to a 10 4.7

Since there are not a lot of options (none) for a supercharger for a 2010 ram 1500 4.7 engine. Isn't the 08 and the 2010 basically the same engine? Would I be able to use a supercharger for a 08 4.7 on a 2010 4.7?

THanks

Somebody can correct me if I am wrong but I am almost 100% sure the 4.7 from 10 is a completely different monster than the 08s. In 09 I think they went into it and completely redesigned it to produce more HP. Because the 4.7 in 10 is pulling almost the same hp to the wheels as the 08 5.7 Hemis were. They are called half hemis :P... So no I do not think they can be interchanged.

The 08's were when they redesigned...but...

there are still some differences. What those are I am not entirely sure but you can bet sensors and probably exhaust manifolds too. The 08's put out the same HP/Tq as the 09's, but the 09's have WAYYYYYY more computer/gadgetry stuff.

2008 was the redesign for the 4.7L. All 2008 and newer 4.7L's are the same. The only real difference with the 2008's vs that 2009+ is that it was in a 3rd gen ram, not a 4th gen ram. So I'd guess the clutch fan might be different, MAYBE slight differences with the PCV and breather system, and MAYBE some minor differences with vacuum line routing, etc., and MAYBE the exhaust manifolds, but I doubt that. The wiring harness, fuel lines, etc. are probably a little different around the engine bay but all the sensors and what not should be the same, just configured a little different. Should be 99% identical.

Where did you find a SC for an 08 4.7L?????????

MORE INFO!!!!!
