I will be buying a flex ASAP. Good looking truck!
I too use the very finest available.

Adam's Premium Car Care products rock!

OP, your ride came up great!

PS: I purchased the Flex XC 3401 VRG Polisher failry recently. One of the greatest car detailing investments I've ever made! I was a "hand only" deatailer all my life [did own a Porter Cable 7424 XP Polisher briefly] but bit the bullet after recommendations from a close friend recently. Found immediately upon my first use of the Flex XC 3401 VRG Polisher that the finish is better. Well worth the $$$'s spent!

Thanks for the props guys...

Yes this should work on a sport grille if you have the honeycomb inserts. First I placed the badge on the grille so I knew where it would go. I had to make a slit where the two honeycomb circles come together, smeared epoxy in the mounting area and inside the slit as well as on the backing clip. Then slid the backing clip inbetween the two circles and zip tied the emblem to the grill nice and tight till the epoxy dried.

Hope that makes some sence.

Why the slit ???? Is there a ridge on the backside of the emblem ? I am in the process of getting my hands on the black honeycomb insert to replace my chrome horizontal bars. This emblem caught my eye as a possibility, that our I pose with the RT (which is also my initials)

There is like a U shaped tab on the back side that has a lil spear head type thing on the end. I won't fit anything on the Ram grille, so either cut the tab off or make a slit and have the tab lock into it.

I should have taken pics before the install, but didnt think of it at the time.

NOOOOOOO!!! Don't ever use Dish Soap on your truck or car or anything of that matter. Always use some type of car soap. Dish Soap is way to harsh to the paint. I detail cars on the side I am gonna make a step by step process of how I detail my truck.

Awesome job ! I tell you what, detailing one of these beasts is a workout ! No need for a trip to the gym on "detailing day" !!

Yes I detail on the side as well, have been for about 10 years now. Never ran into an issue with dishsoap. Only thing it's harsh on is wax and sealants which is why I use it. As long as it's cut way down you'll be ok.

Truth be told right there. But can't beat the look and feel of a freshly detailed finish.

Thanks man. The wheels were found on e bay about 6 months ago. They are the R/T22" Alcoas that were dealer take offs listed for 2K. I contacted the seller asking to buy outright and he agreed.

just kidding...it is such a misnomer that dishsoap is harsh...like jayincali says, it might strip your wax...
