After last nights commercial with Clint Eastwood, I think RAM should brand a new special edition truck and call it the "Eastwood - Do you feel lucky?" Edition.

This would be a hot seller!

Think I will start working on a custom rear window decal now.

I don't watch sports except when it has wheels on it, or Little League Baseball

I tried to catch the commercials yesterday, but the ones that i did see, i had seen before
guess i'll have to look on YouTube for it

LOL Chrysler pulled the video, they are pissed at Clint Eastwood, because he later said that we should have never bailed out the Auto Makers

Would this just be a styling package or would it involve some performance add-ons ?

Eastwood's always said the way he sees it. Yeah, we saved jobs and kept 2 major manufacturers, but let's face it, it cost the US big time to do so.

I don't know if i'd call it the 'do you feel lucky edition', but I'd be inclined to go with the 'the guy you don't mess with' edition

I'd personally rather it be "The Unforgiven Edition"

On a couple of the other Forum's I look at they dogged this commerical because the Gov't gave Chrysler and the other automakers 1.3 trillion to stay aflot. Then people statred saying this was a commerical to get Obama re-elected. As a MOPAR guy I did not read any of that into the commerical. I just don't want to drive a FORD or a Toy.
As far as an Eastwood edition there are allot of people out there who have supported MOPAR that i would buy a truck with their name not Eastwood's.

Same here. When he said we can't be knocked out by just one punch, that reminded me of 9/11 more than anything else and even if it does put a point in Obama's corner, there are plenty of other reasons not to re-elect him. I liked the commercial and I liked the message, an American manufacturer making a comeback. No need to put a political spin on it, they can save that for the mud-slinging commercials nobody watches

And me being a girl, if Eastwood were to get a special RAM, mine would have to be the "He's Still Got It Edition!"

^haha good one.

Whether or not you agree that the gov't should be involved in the private sector, there's really nothing you can do about it now except support the businesses that have come back from it, as they are doing very well (GM and Chrysler). I personally don't think it was a good choice, and think it did more harm than good, but at this point I will still support GM and Chrysler.

None the less, it was a BA commercial!
