Definitely more responsive and smoother compared to the OE Tokicos on my 2012 4x4. I went with the 5100's and set'm at 2.0-2.1 and went from 36.25" to 38.25" and holding after two weeks of settling. Just a slight tad stiffer and a whole lot smoother, especially when going over bumps on the road. If you are paying attention to that on your current coilovers, you will understand my meaning when you change out to Bilsteins. If you decide to do it yourself, compress both shock shafts side by side and watch the rebound of both shock rods as I did for performance comparison. Bilsteins have much faster rebound rate than Tokicos which helps a whole bunch in the smooth ride department for our trucks front end. Compression rates between the two felt pretty close.
