Default UConnect Problem - HELP!?!?!

Ok, about 2 days ago, out of the blue, my phone stops connecting. Literally went in to Home Depot. Came back out 30 minutes later, and the uconnect won't connect to it. Not only that but i noticed that the USB in the glove box is no longer working to charge my phone. And the light around it is out. I checked the connections and they all seem good. ANY THOUGHTS???

If you have a 12 volt test light or a VOM meter, test terminal 1 for ground and terminal 22 for 12 volts.
The terminals are numbered on the gray connector.

quick and dirty first step: disconnect the battery cables and let it sit for 15 minutes before reconnecting. it's the equivalent of hitting the reset button when your computer locks up.

Would MUCH rather take care of this myself than give my truck up to a bunch of putzs for two days.

The bottom row is marked 12 @ one end & 22 @ the other. Terminal 1 is ground and terminal 22 is 12 volts positive. I hope that is a better description.

I don't want to take credit for something that I did not say, especially if it works. This wa sactually posted by Porter_.

Will give that a shot.
Please let us know if any of these steps work for you, ok.

Well, I don't know what happened there, but I was posting and not quoting.

OK, tried the battery cable disconnect. No dice. New sympton. The USB on the radio doesn't work either.

Is this powered by the uconnect module? Also, just to be sure, where is that located? Right side of glovebox?

Check all the factory connections. I think they're behind the glove box. Ours did the same thing. Connection wasn't snapped in all the way.

What are you plugging into the radio USB connector? It won't play an iPod if this is what you were using. It's for playing & downloading music and pictu
res to the radio HD. It ha snothing to do wit the Uconnect module which is an external module which is located to the right of the glovebox opening. Drop the glovebox down toward the floor, look inside the opening to the right. You'll see a module about 4"x6".
If the USB doesn't play a flashdrive, then I may say you have a radio related issue.
