Default Daytime driving lights

I have the 2009 ram 1500. I would like to activate the daytime driving lights for additional safety on the two lane highways. These are the ones that are required in Canada and only lights the front headlights whenever the key is on.
Does anyone know how to do this?
thanks

You have to take it to the dealer and they will hook it up to the star scan tool and turn them on. The lights will only come on when your truck is in Reverse, Drive, or Neutral. They will not come on in Park or when the parking brake is engaged.

The DRL for ours trucks here in the states are the low's at about 50% normal output.

The dealer should not charge you anything for this as it takes a whole one minute to complete.

Thanks for the response. I drive alot of 2 lane highways here in Colorado and I really believe in daytime driving lights. I will call my dealer Monday.
