Default one year review

had my ram for 1 year on 7/30. 15,600 miles and no probs, knock on wood. smile factor still large. the only thing i wish it had was a manual trans. get about 21 h-way, 18 overall.

Congrats on the trouble-free year! Hope to say the same on 5/10/13. Sounds like great gas mileage, but why the wish for a stick? Do you tow a lot, or just like the standard tranny? Myself, I would not have one again unless it was in a 500+ HP muscle car. But maybe some day!

Congrats on the one year, I've had mine 1 year on 7-2-12 trouble free with 28,131. I do notice the shifting with the TC and need to go get it checked out. Other than that, love it!!

my one-year was 7/22. can't complain, only problem was the squeaky door but i tried a new oil/lube and so far so good. i average a clean 15mpg but i do at least 80% of my driving in the city/suburbs so i'd say that's fair performance and as-advertised. i've seen over 20 on long trips regularly.

now that it's a year old definitely time to upgrade to the touch-screen for me; that's the one spot i saved some $ on when i first bought i

6/11 was my date. The only problem is I can't keep the damn radiator overflow cap to stay closed. So all in all I can't complain, still rides/runs like the day it came home..

Manual tranny? Every time I get stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on I-40 I think how much I appreciate the automatic in my Ram 1500. My last ride was a '03 Toyota Matrix with a 5 speed stick. The engine had so little torque, you had to really spin up the engine to keep it from stalling when you eased out the clutch. I tried to teach my daughter to drive a manual with that car, and gave up after she killed the engine about 50 times in 15 minutes.
