Default Think this setup will work good??

...or might you know anyone that has this already? If so what do you think?
Setup in question: replace the restrictive 'Y' pipe with a 3" DUAL IN & 3" DUAL OUT 'X' pipe:
http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A2672A0A0.aspx

then take the 3" pipes back to 2 separate mufflers with 3" CENTER INLET/OUTLET W/ a 6"x14" body:
http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A2694A0A0.aspx

after I remove the stock muffler of course. Then from these mufflers, tie in to the stock pipes (I have dual exhaust) and out through the stock tail pipes. I don't want crazy loud but wouldn't mind a tough growl when its idle and a beastly roar when I get on it!

So, what do you guys think or know about this setup? Thanks in advance!

Why not get a muffler with a built in X pipe?

I figured if im going to replace the 'Y' pipe to allow better flow and put an 'X' pipe I wouldn't need another 'X' in the system. Wouldn't I get better flow with 2 3" separate pipes then going from a 'Y' to 1 pipe into a muffler that splits it into 2?
