Default Need underhood wiring help!!

Hopefully this will not be considered as a double post -- I am figuring that the 2011 Ram have to be close in wiring to the 2012, and not sure if any 2011 owners venture into the 2012 asking it apologies if this is a no no.....

So, as I was saying.... I give up.

I like to think I am pretty handy with the wrench...and I have wired up more than my fair share of auxiliary lights, stereos, etc. so I figured wiring up the two KC Daylighters and my Pilot remote control switch would be a piece of cake.....

Find a ground, find a power connection for the relay, run wires to the lights...thats all easy...a little time consuming to do it neatly and right, but easy I, find a hot lead that is on only with the parking lights to power the remote control brain........ok now THAT one has me stumped.

For the life of me I cant find the wiring for the parking fact, I cant even figure how the HECK to GET to the parking lights/headlights in the event I had to change the bulbs! EVERYTHING under the hood has some sort of cheap plastic or rubber cover obscurring in the name of Mother Mopar do you get to the wiring/bulbs!?!?!?

I am assuming I have to remove the entire headlight assembly maybe???? Seems like a lot of work to change a bulb (if that is what I were doing).

I did figure out what wires went to the fog lights but only because I can see them GO TO THE FOG LIGHTS....LOL

I can find any wire you ask of me in 10 seconds under the hood of my 72 Barracuda,....but on the 12 Ram? I AM L O S T !!!!!

So if anyone here has installed driving lights etc, and used under hood wiring , how about some pointers?

This old dog needs to learn some new tricks I guess...LOL

Rescue1 will become famous soon enough

While it isn't as easy as your classic muscle car, it isn't that bad.

Pick the first result

After that you have good access to the wires and can probe the one you require. I used the high beam (+) into pin 85(Use whatever light you wish)
(- chassis) to pin 86
(+ Batt) Pin 30
(+ to aux lights) Pin 87
If you want to hook up an non lit interior switch so you can disable the lights use the ground wire going to pin 86 and bring the ground(-) from the area of the switch so you only have to run 1 wire through the firewall ... Good luck...
