I mainly drive mixed city(80%) and highway(20%) and normally see 14-15 mpg but a 2 tanks recently I only got 10 but I have also recently taken off my exhaust so that may have something to do with it. The tank I'm on which I will need to get gas tomorrow is looking to be back in the high 13 low 14 mpg range

But on long trips my best was 23 mpg going from Austin, TX to Dallas,TX going the posted speed limits(60-75). But at ramfest a few weeks ago I got 19 on the way back from Keller, TX to Harker Heights, TX going 80

I've been getting between 18.5 and 19.1 on 87 octane. My commute is 72 miles a day on all 2 lane New England roads with sppeds ranging from 35 to 60 so I average around 45 miles per hour. I have a fuel log app on my Droid and it calculates which tracks all my fill ups and calculates my mpg. The EVIC usually shows between 19.7 and 20.3 average.

I am only on a bullydog gt tuner which I have reprogrammed more than I have drank fluids in my life but that's what it is. I should note though using that system I have lost my cruise control~ Also I am running 89 octane because 87 my numbers were worse and the truck only has 34k miles on it~
Weird I have the same tuner on a 2004, I had no issues with losing my cruise control. Might wanna check into that ?

I'm getting pretty much the same, I'm at 1,600 miles. Noticed today truck felt unusually strong. My Challengers didn't really loosen up until 5,000. If I've still got that to look forward to, I already know when my gas mileage is going to go to HE11!

I get about 14.5 - 16 mixed driving between highway and back roads with hills. I use 89 Oct. fuel. The truck only has about 1200 miles on it so far, but I keep reading on here it gets better later on.

I hope it gets better !!!

Right now, I have 1633 miles on mine, and this past weekend, I made a trip towing my boat, and one without.

Towing a 3300 lb boat 133 miles @ ~ 65 mph highway, with about 15% city below 35 mph, I averaged 10.6 (evic said 11.8).

Not towing, I drove 448 miles @ 70 mph ave, but ~ 25% of it was very hilly, and maybe 30 miles of in town stop & go with some very steep hills, I averaged 16.9 (evic said 18.1)

Normal daily driving (when I use it for that) is all stop & go, and I am averaging 10-11 mpg at best. I don't wring it out, and honestly I'm not even on the throttle as hard as I was with the chevy, but the mpg ain't really no better.

Now, these numbers are on par with the chevy I traded in on it based on the speeds/terrain, but still, I expected better than this. Best I ever got with the chevy was 19.2 highway, and I do feel if I had a highway trip with no hills, I could probably get that with this one.

True, since it isn't really any worse than the chevy, and I did pick up another 90 hp, and tons more comfort and features/room, it's kinda a wash.........but still......kinda disappointed right now. Especially when I can't even spin the tires for some satisfaction !!!!!!!

I'm also not real fond of the EVIC accuracy either, as on the chevy, it was always within .2 mpg of doing hand calcs, but this one seems to be off ~ 10% most of the time.

Getting between 16 and 17 combined city/highway so far. I'm still in "break in" with 2200 miles on the truck so far.

Only mods so far have been a CAI system.

Guess I'll see if the mileage improves post break in like Cummins/Dodge claim.

Hope to take the boat out in a few weeks and put the truck to work.
