Ms. Big Cactus is still down. I took her to the hospital and the doctors just don't know what to do about her. I've replaced every part which makes her heart go and still no spark. I'm stumped the doc is stumped.

If anyone knows about the electrical systems of mid 80's mopar. I would certainly like any advice on what may be the problem. No spark from coil.

She's a Dodge Ram B250 5.9L 360 with only 84,000 miles.
Replace:
ECM, Distributor, coil wire, starter relay, ignition with tilt, ballast resistor. Still Ms. Big Cactus is not rolling. The carbs getting gas.

I see an item missing from the list of replaced items....the coil itself. Being a mid 80's, I would expect the coil to be in need of replacement if it's the original.

I didn't exactly miss it...they suck right out of the box!

I'll concede a for catchin' it though...credit where credits due

Did you bring it up to TDC and make sure it's not 180 out? And plug in the dist?

OK, OK....I'll give you that one. LOL They are not the most reliable off the shelf part.

Good call on the timing thing. When replacing a distributor that is an easy error to make as the timing mark is at TDC twice for each distributor rotation. Only one of this times is it right!
