Sales guy at Dave Smith called me this morning offering $300 referral bonus to find him a new customer. I'm telling ya...they need to sell a few more Rams before the end of August to get bonus from Dodge. My deal was 5% below INVOICE and you may do better today!! Plus the $1,000 rebate and 0% financing

Someone please let me refer them!!! haha

I post pics next week of my new 2500!

Default Back with Dodge after a short hiatus

Just switched back to Dodge after a short hiatus with Toyota. I have always liked the 4th gen looks of the Ram. Tried to get a Laramie last year, but decided to get a Highlander instead. I just decided to switch back to a truck and found a nice 2012 1500 Express, Reg cab, 4x4, Tequila Sunrise.I just relocated back to Georgia from Washington state and wanted to lower my expenses. Dropped the $45,000 Highlander to the $25,000 Ram. Only mods I plan on doing are nerf/step bars, hard lockable tonneau, and later a Nav radio. After years of leather, heated seats, sunroofs, nav, and all options, its nice to get back to basics. The Express does come with some nice features. I really like having my vehicle monitoring system so I can see the hemi chug the fuel. Used to have a dodge Caliber before the Highlander and really enjoyed it other than squeezing into it, 6'3" and 330lbs, (short for my weight). With the Ram sitting up nice and high, stock, the first mod will be to get the nerf/step bars.

Welcome to the forum!

Here's an index page that might help navigate the site http://www.ramforumz.com/index.php

It's the one I use to move around and the one I have saved.

Glad to see that you wound up on the Z. There are different sections of the forum set up specific to the generations if you need help in the future. It's also a great place to just hang around. General Discussions and I've heard of an "off Topic" section.

Not to forget the vendors that can help with any modifications you might like to personalize your vehicle.

Take some time and brows the site, maybe even make a few friends!

Newbie how tos is always a good idea. It might help to familiarize yourself with how-to's on using the site and is a good reference tool for the future. One of the most underused aspects is reputation. It's used to say thanks to a member that may have helped, or pointed you in the right direction.

The little scales of justice in the upper-right hand corner of their reply has it. Just click on it and add to their reputation.

Also try to remember posting if you have an issue with your Ram and solve it. That also helps other members solve their issues.

Since you're new, why don't you put yourself on the map? http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=156146 Click on Additions and add yourself.

Enjoy the site!

Default Welcome to the Z. For hauling or towing heavy loads or to make your RAM faster off the line...

Welcome to the Z - great people and info here.

If you haul or tow heavy loads with your RAM please check out TotalLoadControl™ air suspension.

TLC™ is a revolutionary air suspension that we introduced on the Z for 2nd & 3rd Gen 2500 & 3500 and 4th Gen 1500.

TLC uses the largest air springs on any pick-up - 9" Goodyear springs - to level any load you haul or tow. TLC also improves handling, absorbs road shocks and bumps and should save on tire wear (if you do a lot of heavy hauling or towing) - and does not interfere with the smooth factory ride.

We've also had reports that TLC lowers 0-60 by 1 second....! (by keeping the truck level and firm)

Please check us out on the Z Vendor Forum or our website. If you have any questions about TLC, please contact or me or our Z rep, ArmyofOne (Josh).

Enjoy the Z!

John
