Default Black Box

Anyone know what the black box is under the center seat. I was thinking of building a downward facing sub in the seats place, but was worried a magnet vibrating over the box might cause a problem. Thanks.

Is This It?

Correct me if I'm wrong... But I Believe it has something to do with the seatbelt lock-up and/or airbag deployment. Something like a gyro, and accelerometer inside (So maybe not a good idea to put magnets too close). They put it where it is based on weight balance I Believe.
