Default Slip on Towing Mirrors?????

I recently bouoght a enclosed race trailer and I thought I'd buy a set of the slip on mirror covers for my 2011 Sport but I can't seem to find a manufacturer that has them for the later body style Ram. Anyone know of one who does? I know I could change to the towing mirrors but I'll only be pulling the trailer a few times each year and I really don't want the extra width the rest of the time. The slip on's would be perfect if there is such a thing.

Thanks!!!

I'll take that as a no. Anyone had any good experiences with any of the universal mirror extensions? I gotta do somehting. I'm pulling a 28' enclosed race trailer that's 8 1/2' wide. I can't see anything!!

I've searched and searched and can't come up with any either. If you find a dealer let me know.

There is a suction cup one that I heard was decent. Was about $34 each. I need to get a pair myself. Part number 30882 at www.go-rv.com

I got these at O'Reilly Auto Parts. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...=towing+mirror
I think other parts stores sell something similar. They work pretty good. They are a little concave(convex?), so you can see quite a bit of area, but it's hard to see detail at the back of my 29' camper. I'v seen the suction cup ones at Walmart, but I wonder if those would be hard on the truck's mirror mechanism.

I'd say if you can get your hands on a used set of OEM tow mirrors. I love mine and won't have a truck without them now.

I have a suction cup mirror extension I bought from the local trailer place. I was concerned that it would fall off but I've been using it for years without an issue. It's such a simple thing...suction cup, rod with a convex mirror on the end. I'm not a big fan of the towing mirrors and didn't want to give up my auto dimming mirrors so when towing my 24 foot box trailer this thing does the trick.

Sorry no pic and it was so long ago that I don't remember the box it came in. I would surf "suction cup trailer mirror". I tried "LeftCoast's" link but it didn't work well for me.

Decided to just bite the bullet and get the towing mirrors. I ordered them today from my local Keystone store. They are aftermarket replacements for the factory fold out black textured mirrors with the turn signals and the puddle lamps. Got them for $175 each. Not cheap but WAY less than the factory mirrors and I know that they'll be worth it in the long run.

Especially pulling this...

I just got a wieght distributing hitch and sway control last week. The truck already had the Air Lift bags. The mirrors are the last piece of the towing puzzle...I hope...so I think I'm set to go drag racing!!

These are the same as what I got. Found them on Ebay but I decided to buy local.

I'll post some pics and a review when I get them in a few days.

That looks like a big trailer for that 1500. I guess it pulls it ok. How does it do on 540 down to 40 with those big hills?
