Frost - any shortblock advice (pistons, rods, etc or a specific kit)
I don't think any brand of component is going to be much better than the next. My opinion is the builder is 90% of the total quality, parts are 10% and I prefer the 6.1 block with oil squirters.

As for turbo size, I have a Borg S480-96mm 1.32 A/R under the hood and could probably fit two. The trucks don't have a space restriction like cars have.

another fuel pump upgrade...A1000?
will an 88mm fit? should I go that big?
buy a stroker kit or buy a shortblock and sell mine?
bore/stoke to 6.4 or 6.7? pros and cons to either?
Yea try and get up with Mike tomorrow. He works in the morning so he'll have some free time lol. I might be up that way tomorrow afternoon, so he can catch me up then.

If he didn't have the VVT block the 6.1L block would be a great swap if he could get a hold of one; the supply is starting to dwindle now that they're out of production. I wonder if anyone has done a 6.4L block swap into the Ram yet, since it's VVT it might be an easier swap and that block should be able to support a 400/426 stroke if there are any kits out there yet.

Talked to Mike today. Wheels are in motion. Parts list to follow in a new thread this week and the truck gets dropped off early September.
Looking at a 370 ci stroker, a second fuel pump/line and more boost. Cam, springs, piston, etc. details to follow.

370 is a great stroke size for boost. Not too big, not too small. If I hadn't found the deal on my forged 349 shortblock I would have gone to the 370(6.1L) stroker with the D1/Novi 1500.

I thought his was just a 5.7L stroked block and not a 6.4L block. Unless he used the truck manifold on the 6.4L block, which I would question since the 6.4L manifold flows better than the truck manifold, and both have active intake runners.
