Default weld or kit?

just wondering what would be better. i want the 14" magnaflow but unsure whether i want it to be welded in with the new y pipe or just buy the dod14m kit. i know the dod14m is a do it yourself project but i dont have a way to lift the truck and do it unless i bring it to a shop. so should i have them weld in the muffler and y pipe or have them install the kit? which is the better option

adding the why pipe is a great way to go. you can do the muffler swap with out having a lift. cost wise, you'll probably end up spending the same amount having the shop install the why pipe and weld on 14" compared to you buying the dod14m and installing it yourself. A little trick to help get the muffler off is take a ratchet strap rap it around the end of the muffler and attach the ratchet end to the hitch and slowly put pressure on the muffler and tap it with a hammer. and same for getting the tail pipe off
