GhostR1der is on a distinguished road
Default GhostR1ders Vararam review.

Well I put the Vararam on my 12 CC sport yesterday and took it for a short ride. At first I didn't feel anything different nor did it sound any different. I drove around for 20 minutes or so with no real change. This morning I got up and detailed the truck for a 2 hour constant drive and an all day event (ram fest). This is where I began to notice a few things that were different. My exhaust on the highway got a lot more throaty. Like I used to not hear it at 70-75 and now the 14" magnaflow is definitely louder. It does drone like crazy at 70 though while in 6th gear. I still have the resonators on as well. I also did a few WOT pulls and now my engine is loud like you can hear the RAWR coming from the engine bay. My butt dyno thinks that the truck pulls harder in the upper RPM band. My transmission shifts are firmer and it down shifts very easily. It down shifts when you barely give it throttle though and I had a few 3rd to 1st gear jumps on accident a few times. Another thing is something I'm going to just used to is when normal driving it kinda felt like the trans wasn't positive when up shifting and driving slow during traffic. Prolly something it always did jut now I'm paying more attention to it.

Overall I'm very happy with it and it turned some heads today. I drive home in the rain and no water got anywhere close to the filter for the record.

One question though. Since you replace the pVC line with a breather does that eliminate the use of a catch can?

Your sig....you can take uncorrected out of it. There's no such thing as a corrected ET of MPH.
Dyno numbers can use a correction factor...not track times.

LOL....no.
You can use an SAE correction factor on a dyno. % will vary by elevation...or DA as you stated.
You can NOT use a correction factor in a drag race. You run what you run...period.
We use DA as a factor in tuning our ADRL Extreme 10.5 car...but we can't use it to arbitrarily make up a new number. If we run a 3.90 @ 206 that's what it is...no matter the altitude OR density altitude.
That's a fact....not my opinion and I can assure you I'm correct.

That's me on the left...I may know a thing or 2 about racing.

Well all that may be true
But when I run to the beer store I have factor in the ADRL with barometric pressure, minus the DA who said I can't haul ass to the beer store no mo, and that equals x2
Well once I get that number I usually say the hell with it and just floor it and get there ASAP

In case you didn't notice, I don't have a damn clue what yall are talking about so I'm just raising my post count

Will that thing really do a 3.9 @ 206???

I'm not saying I'm using it to make my time better, I was just saying... thanks for the info though

Consistently. We run the entire American Drag Racing League schedule.
We were the 3rd car in the world in the 3's on a 10.5" wide tire a couple of years ago with another car. We're looking for 3.80's now.
Car has a 640" billet big block with twin turbos and a Rossler 2 speed.
Makes about 4000 HP.
