Default False lamp out light

Hows it going guys? Ok so when I got my truck about a year ago, I ocassionally would get the lamp out indicator, I put my hazards on, headlights on, than flash my highbeams and the light warning light would go out. This just happened again yesterday. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Well I'm getting a false lamp out warning for my left rear turn signal however that's because the ballast is going on my LED after market tail lights. I have a couple of resisters ordered that should fix the problem. Yours sounds weird since you have found a sequence that clears it. What lamp is it complaining about ?

My truck is an 04 so I dont get an indication of wich it is, just that theres one out (no onboard info screen, just an orange "lamp out" signal). only way I discoverd the sequence to dismiss it was by trying to find it lol.

maybe you have the wrong bulb in somewhere as it may have been replaced before. most people dont this there is a difference between a 3157 and a 3457 but there is. im aiming towards the turn signals. Check which bulbs its supposed to come with from the factory. and see if they all match. if theres a odd ball replace it with the correct one to see if it fixes your issue.

Thanks, I think the best spot would be my tag lights, they are amber instead of clear, would that be the 3157 and 3457 differance you were talking about?

I had a circuit card for the passenger taillamp going bad, I would get an intermittent one sometimes. An intermittent bulb connection will sometimes trigger it too.
