Default Side view camera installs. Let's see pics

Eventually I will have a lock pick and will want sideview cameras. I see a lot of people talking about them but I have yet to find pictures of where they are being mounted. Can someone show me please? Where are the wires running also?

What's the purpose of side view cameras?

What am I missing here....

That would be good for blind spots, but I would use them hooked into a DVR for security.. I am thinking about getting one of the rear view mirror replacements with the cameras built in, facing in and forward. ..

some people use inside cameras to see what the children are doing in the back seat area
those cameras could be pointed any where

I think the side view cameras would just give a little more peace of mind when changing lanes. When changing lanes to the right I have a hard time seeing with the passenger seat, my wife, and the baby seat in the back. Also, I think it would be cool.

It'd be a great concept for the days when I use to do trail runs, but I've never actually seen it done. Also heard a lot about front view cameras going into trucks

I had some A-Hole do a "U" turn in a parking lot to my right yesterday. Didn't look and just spun around and pulled out. I braced for impact and KNEW he was going to take the entire side of my truck off as I passed.

I would have LOVED to have a side view camera just so I know how close he really did come.
