Default McGaughy's kit installed...

OK so this morning the 2/4 spindle kit was installed. Not bad. McG could step up their quality control a bit. One knuckle didn't have the machining done on the upper ball joint pad. And they could atleast attempt to coat the bare steel. Mine were starting to rust already, but I handled that. A little special spray bomb and good to go. Matte Black Aluma-Hyde should work just fine.

The ride is a tad soft in the rear, but I'll deal with it. Alignment tomorrow. Also installed the Spohn panhard bar, well worth the money. On to the next mod.....

A good adjustable shock back there will firm that right back up if you want it that way.
Did you measure before and after?
I'm installing mine this week sometime...wondering exactly how much drop there is.

I fully meant to measure my belltech kit but was too anxious I guess and had the front end tore apart when I remembered that I meant to measure lol. Looks nice

@ OP, you still happy with this kit? Is the 2 pics above the Aluma-hyde can showing the parts that were not machined?

I love my mcgaughy kit. It's been on my ram for the past 8 months with no problems.

I love the kit so far. Don't see any reason not to... Alignment was no issue. I haven't hauled anything and don't tow yet, so we'll see. Heck I've only driven it 4 miles.... I work too darn much

Yes those pics are the machined one vs. unmachined
