Default 3rd gen rear steel braided brake lines? Do they make these?

I have been trying to get a hold of a set of rear steel brake lines but cant find them anywhere. I found a three piece kit which is two front and one center line in the rear but it doesn't cover the two flex lines at the rear brakes.

Can anyone direct me to where I can get the two rear lines?

I have been looking for a while and haven't seen rear sets. Our trucks are front brake biased, almost 70% of the braking is done on the front so that's why only the front and center line is available in kits.

I wish it was 50/50, my friends VW has technology that makes the back brakes brake harder to prevent nose dive on the front suspension.

Ok that makes sense. Ive been looking into this all morning before I have to leave for work... It looks like no one makes a rear set for the 3rd gen trucks. I did come across a company that will make a set custom if I mail in the OEM ones as a template. Im gonna go to Autozone and buy a pair of stock brake lines and contact this company for a quote.Even though most of our braking is in the front I feel like there is no sense doing the rear center if the outter lines are still rubber.

Is there a website or something where you can order a universal line with custom fittings? The driver side flex line goes directly into the metal line... no banjo bolt or anything for that connection.

I know they make them for the SRT10's, so it makes sense that someone either makes them for regular 1500's or you can probably use the SRT ones. My stock brake lines bolted right to the SRT calipers I installed. I want to this upgrade in the not too distant future.

OK... It took me a lot longer to make time to install these. I just put the brake lines on + installed speed bleeders the other day. I love the feel. Idk if I would recommend this upgrade as a "top of the mod list" but Im happy I did it. The difference in braking power is prob from bleeding/flushing the brake fluid. So all in all I would say this about these mods...

Speed bleeders = a must have. Put these at the top of your list.

Steel braided brake lines = a good upgrade, def like them. Add to the mod list but not the top. There are better things to start with.

Also, no one makes the rear brake lines for these trucks. Not even the SRT. You can buy rear lines and fittings and make them yourself or find a company that will do it for you. I found a company called Essex. They make custom brake applications for all vehicles. They told me if I mail in a set of stock brake lines they can make a steel braided set to match and mail everything back. Idk if its worth it but for inquiring minds, here ya go.
