Question 2013 Ram 2500 Price?

Hey y'all. Its been far too long... I found a 2013 Laramie 4x4 Black on Black brand new with 6.7l. What is a decent price? I also found a 2013 Longhorn Laramie Brown on Brown for $2k more... Is it worth it? Resale maybe?

Thanks!!

It might help if you post the window price on both trucks to help give an idea, and what features they have. Those trucks can range by several 1000's depending on the option in it. I don't know what the prices would be in states as Canada and the states usually have different prices for vehicles. I went on the Ram website and looked at the trim packages.
2500 Laramie starts at- $43,550
2500 Laramie Longhorn starts at- $48,965
Now I am sure that both these prices exclude the 6.7 and 4x4 and such
As it won't let me build a truck on the ram.com site, I will build a laramie with 6.7L and 4x4 on the Canadian site, but first here are the Canadian prices.
2500 Laramie starts at-$46,495
2500 Laramie Longhorn starts at-$51,495

So here is a 2013 Ram 2500 laramie-4x4 Crew Cab 149in. WB
Wheels:17x8 aluminum, tires lt265/70R17E owl on/off-road
lower two tone paint
6 speed auto tranny
3.42 rear axle ratio
6.7L cummins
leather trimmed bucket seats
radio:Ucoonect 8.4AN am/fm/bt/nav
tip start
transmission oil cooler
11.50 rear axle
180-amp alternator
current generation engine controller
diesel exhaust brake
tow hooks
winter front grille cover
115V auxiliary power outlet
folding flat rear storage
full length floor console
heated front seats
heated second row seats
high back seats
low back bucket seats
power lumbar adjust
power 10-way memory driver & 6 way passanger seats
rear 60/40 split folding seat
ventilated fronts seats
clearance lamps ($100, I added)
Power chrome trailer tow mirrors w/ manual fold away ($125, I added too)
Chrome exterior mirrors
exterior mirrors w/ supplemental signals
exterior mirrors courtesy lamps/heated mirrors
exterior mirrors w/ memory
spray in bedliner ($525, I added-Is awesome)
power adjustable pedals w/ memory
1 year trails (XM radio?)
gps navigation
remote start system ($395, I added.. Canada thing lol)

Final Price all said and done is
==$72,885.
Remember this is Canadian prices, so could probably knock 2-3 grand off.

Wish I could do the American prices to help, but this is the best I can do. Hopefully this helps and you get yourself a new awesome Cummins.

MSRP for the Laramie is $59,595
The dealership offered me $48,999 on the Laramie this evening. Said dealer also offered me $1000 more for my 2013 Rubicon when compared to ALL other dealers.

MSRP on the Longhorn is $63,595 at another dealership and they told me over the phone it was "on sale" at $51k and some change... $1000 less for my Rubicon though...

Those are some pretty good prices. I know Brandonjansen got his 2012 laramie limited cummins this year new off the lot for $60,000.. Listed at 70,000. Yet again Canadian though.

With them being so close in price, I guess it all comes down to what your prefer, is there features the laramie is missing that the longhorn has? What colour do you prefer.

Has ALL the options minus the stitched leather... Think I'll pick it up today! Thanks for your help

Both of those are really good prices. I'm not a huge fan of the Longhorn personally, so if it was me I would jump all over that Laramie. Seems like an awesome price plus they're giving you the extra 1K...can't go wrong.

Mine was listed at $76,000 But close enough. Canadian prices are much higher though. Especially once you get into the HD trucks.

OP, this is good advise ^^ Really it comes down to what you like better. Personally I'm not a fan of the Longhorn interior at all and I don't really like the two tone. So I'd never go for that.... but other people have different opinions. What is nice about the Longhorn is the upgraded leather and other interior features that it has over the Laramie. Have you looked at a Limited at all? It's has all the features and quality of a Longhorn but doesn't look so cowboy-ish. That's what I have and I love it! Such a nice truck inside and out.

Either way, both those are good prices for a brand new 2013.

I swear I read 70 on your build.. It might have been the fact that was at 1am after I had been at school doing an exam and studying from 7am-midnight and I am forgetting how to read.. idk

All of the models are sweet, hell if it has a cummins and 4x4, I could have an interior made out of cardboard and plastic buckets for seats. Limited is sweet though. The longhorn is nice, and sorta does fit in greatly in Texas lol. It does have the cowboy feel to the interior, but I am sure Texas played a part in that. My neighbour has a 2012 3500 non-duellie longhorn cummins, its nice but it is the red with silverish gold two tone.. Not a fan of the colour but its a nice truck. The Laramie's are also awesome. Honestly I am just rambling on because personally, cloth and manual seats are very from any of those packages, would be as happy as a pig in mud to have leather and power again .

Let us know what how the final decision goes, and it is only right that you get pics of the wrangler beside the Ram as it transfer over. Do you also have a 2011 still?

Ya, $70k was listed in there too... here's how the break down was. The MSRP and original sticker on the truck was $76k. Because it was a leftover 2012 they had it down to $70k when I went a looked at it. Then I got them down to $60k.
