Default 03 1500 engine swap tone rings,,

ok my 4.7 is toast, i can get another for crazy cheap but i am told its a 16t tone ring. ive searched and searched and posts are not making sense
my question, if i pick this motor up, what do i need to do to slap it into my 03.

Swap both sets of tone rings on the cam and the crank?
Use new motors pcm and wiring harness> ?
And if i need to pull the crank what is it going to entail for me to do it, As in taking the entire motor down to the block or is it a quick easy swap?
Someone please clarify asap
thanks
jb

Default

or is it possible to use the "new " motors pcm and wiring harness all in one whole package and drop it in? knowing that it will be a complete pain in the ARSSE to change tone rings.. i am trying to avoid taring a motor completely appart and down to bare block..

Default tone ring

The tone ring provides the signaling to the PCM. as it spins, it measures the position of the timing components, thus telling the engine when to fire the plugs and the injectors...Thus, the ring and PCM work together and must match each other.. the wiring harnesses are specific to the PCM and are not interchangeable as the connectors are not the same.
