It's certainly not bad, it has a higher stall than all the others including the Sport. But there is always room for improvement lol I'd say wait on that mod until you do the Headers, Y pipe and exhaust/muffler swap depending on what you like. I will say I have all of that done on my truck and even my fat ass quad cab will run a high 14 on the R/T 22's with a rolling start thanks to stupid open diff 3.55's lol

To get back to the OP, you can do headers if you would like and if you are worried about codes get O2 extensions from Moe's performance. I installed long tubes and would trip a code about once a month or so. Would just unhook the battery for a few minutes and reset the computer and good to go. But having said all of that the torque converter would give you a better jump in performance...

Well, I'm going to stick with the JBA's over the longtubes. Clearing the codes by resetting the ECU is a no go in NY. When you get your annual OBD2 inspection you're only allowed 1 incomplete ECU cycle, resetting the ECU obviously resets all the cycles resulting in a failure.

Thanks everyone for the advice. The torque converter and fastman throttle body are my next mods.

They can track how many times you unplug your battery or how many times you clear codes in the computer?

You'll get more performance gains out of the torque converter if you are doing one at a time

No they can't. But they can tell if you have any incomplete ECU cycles, which resetting the ECU does.

I just cleared mine by disconnecting the battery. I think the jba headers are a better fit for the 2011+ however since we can't tune.

Yeah I go them in the mail today. Will be installing them Sunday morning. If I start at 7 I can be done in time for NFL Sunday countdown lol.

If you have any mechanically inclined friends get them to help. It sucks doing them by yourself, been there, twice.

heh, these are going to be cake compared to most of the headers I install. Here's a few pics of my last cars engine bay....

Not that the drivers side wont be a pain, but I'm used to doing them on a FWD V6.

I'll probably have a few friends there anyway, everyone congregates to my garage on weekends to see my projects....helping will be payment for the fridge raiding they do while they're here lol.
