The only problem is the dip stick on the drivers side that's bolted to the block, and some of the bolts are in a kind of awkward area to get too. Just take your time and go through the fender area for most of the work, and have your swivels handy. For non tunable Rams the shorties provide the most response compared to the LT's from American Racing. But power at the mid and top end is awesome on them, even with open diff 3.55's (22" R/T Rims, stock Crapyear tires) I was able to pull a 14.8 1/4 mile in Orlando and it was in the 90's outside. I highly suggest a TQ Convertor if you haven't already gone that route as well.

I was looking at the Circle D one for $500. I'm thinking 2800 stall. I do tow with the truck semi often, so I want to keep that in mind as well. I have the 3.92 gears.

Not sure where I want to go with the throttle body, fastman sells an 81mm which is great for NA, but, I am planning on supercharging the truck when a tuning solution is available so I may just go with their 84mm. I'm just not sure how well the 84 would work NA. I'm going to have to search the forum a bit more and see what results others have had.

Moe's Performance has a couple nice units as well. I have the 84mm straight thru and love it. Def more throttle response. The 2800 should be very nice as well. Sounds like some great mods!

Wow, just checked out Moe's, I may just buy a whole package deal with them for the throttle body, torque converter and stage 2 valve body.

Install was cake on the passenger side, drivers side was a bit more challenging. I disconnected the clips that hold the AC lines in place, dropped the starter and loosened the bottom bolt on the dipstick and got it in there. Total time was about 3-3.5 hours.

So it came with pretty good instructions, or are you a seasoned at home mechanic? The price on these isn't too bad, but when you add in labor for a shop to do it, the price is much less enticing!!
Again, you did a great job and I want them! Would you mind posting a vid? Does is put out that great metallic header/ hot rod sound??
