Has anyone done a brake pressure test with the hydroboost conversion?
I'd be really interested to see if it actually increases braking pressure or just firms up the pedal.
I searched and couldn't find much more than how-to threads...no real testing before or after.

He's my testing: With the brake pedal mashed to the floor I could only build my boost to 0 before the rear brakes would let go. After the conversion, with new brake fluid and old pads / rotors, I could hold the brake pedal at medium to high pressure and was able to go full throttle. The rear brakes didn't budge and I could feel the frame of the truck twist like a 1/4 turn. (my 3000 stall now flashes to 5500 at 5 #s boost if I do this)

I picked up a front and rear set of power stop ceramic pads with a set of drilled/slotted rotors for $205 on eBay and that alone made a big difference especially when dragging my trailer in traffic

I have the EBC slotted/vented calipers and the yellow stuff pads. It is night and day compared to the stock setup.

putting together my hydroboost parts list and waiting for my SSBC kit to show up. when I move back to Jacksonville it'll be my first project next month. Just need to figure out the 3 hoses prior to pulling it all apart. I bookmarked your thread and video. Thanks for the info.
