Default Adding In-Dash Trailer Brake Module

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2012 Ram 1500 that does not have a factory installed in-dash trailer brake module.

I want the dealer to install a module in the dash as if it was done at the factory.

Is this possible?

I don't want an under-dash unit.

Thanks,
AA6

the dealer can install the OEM brake controller
the after market ones tend to stick out to far & become a knee knocker

even the Express can use the OEM controller, they just will not have it show up on the EVIC, where the speedo & tachometer is
it still can be read on the controller itself

The dealer can do it but make sure they throw it in for free. You can get the module for $118 and it takes 10-15 minutes to install.

Appreciate the replies.

I'm having them switch out the chrome clad hub caps too.

I believe that what you call chrome clad hub caps
are actually bonded to the wheel itself, they don't come off

I chose the polished and painted aluminum wheels to replace the chrome cad wheel (like the set on the white truck below).

I might have to get some aftermarket wheels. Anyone know the offset of the factory 20x9 rim?

I like the Mickey Thompson Classic II but it doesn't come in 20"

The stock offset on the 20" rims is +19.
