Nick, it is super easy to install.
1) Drop the kick panel below the steering wheel. Two screws hold it on at the bottom, after that it just pulls off. This gives you access to one torx bit screw on the front of the controller.
2) Open the side compartment on the dash by the driver's door, the part that sits flush with the driver's door when it is closed.. It does not look like it's hinged, but it swings open easily. Then you can access the two torx bit scres that hold the left side of the controller in. These two nutplates for the torx screws are copper, I think they ground to the chassis..
3) There are two el. connectors that plug into the bottom of the controller. Pretty straight forward.
Now for my problem, lol... The truck immediately recognized the el. trailer brake was not there and gives me a service trailer brake light. I am going to try and disconnect the battery to see if this makes the light go out.
Soo in theory.. if my truck knew the controller was not there, your's should recognize that you installed one.
Dodge techs please let us know what else we need to know on this..

When I did mine back in April mopar-wholesale.com had it for $109+12 shipping. I see they offer it for $103.54 before shipping but it doesn't specify whether it comes with bezel like it did when I ordered it.

Comes with bezel (you need it). Make sure you order the proper unit for the year. Have it installed in mine. Did not get it flashed at dealer and still works fine. Just no display on EVIC but you don't need it.
