Default Crazy shift issue.

My trucks tranny lately shifts weird sometimes. When I get on it a little, it's like the tranny can't find the gear in time.
Say I'm hitting 2500 to 3500 rpm's, instead of shifting down, it will shift up and then down, like it can't find the gear for a second.
I was reading this could be a bad sensor or something, or is my tranny going out?

I've had the same issue a few times. Mostly if I'm powering out of a corner. I believe there was a TSB that Dodge put out with a fix, but I honestly don't remember where I found it or what it entailed. You might try just having the transmission fluid flushed. That seems to help a lot of shifting issues.

Yes, I was thinking about having it flushed out, as I'm not sure it's ever been changed in it's life. But I've also heard sometimes if you change the tranny fluid when it hasn't been done in years, it could cause the transmission to go out.

It's got to be a sensor, or my fluid is bad, as it years old lol. hopefully I'll figure this out.
