Default Column to floor shift (2013)

So i know this was a "popular" mod to convert from the column shift to the floor. My 2013 is column (express w/6 speed) and I want to do the conversion has anyone does this on a 13 and know if everything is the same from the previous years?

Yes I did a search didnt find anything on a 13...

As far as I have found through my research everything is pretty much the same. The difference is in the dash panel. The older models it was flush at the bottom so the console would fit with the stock dash. Our 13 and newer trucks have an angled dash that you must also get for the console to fit. The stock dash is straight cut across the bottom and the console leaves gaps...

I already have the center console in my truck I just have the giant hole in the middle that fits a gallon of milk! I want to put the shifter on the floor, I'm more concern with the under dash wiring and plugs. Do they match up?

Would this "kit" still work?

HAHAHA gotcha. The wiring and cable should all be the same. Make sure you have the brake interlink wire so that the shift will release with your foot on the brake, then an extended cable to reach the new shifter in the console. I remember one guy said he used the firewall bracket that came wit his kit but had issues going into park with the new floor shifter. He went back to the stock bracket and it worked just fine after that. Otherwise you should be good to go!
