Default Where did you mount your amp?

I have an 06 QC. Trying to come up with a good location to mount my amp. Right now it looks like the best spot is under the drivers seat. Amp measures 10" x 20", so it stick out in the back. I don't like that but the rear floor mat covers it up pretty good. Also adds some protection to it.

Show me some pix of yours...

I'm just starting this stereo upgrade. I'll start a new thread with pix later..

Sub amp under the driver's side front seat. Main amp under the passenger side. LOC behind passenger side kick panel. Worked just fine.

Two amps and crossovers all under the driver's seat. Gotta love class D power.

Had 3 amps mounted under rear folding seat in an 07qc, then got rid of some superfluous great and upgraded an amp, now have 2 stacked jl hd amps driverside under the rear folding seat. I'd post pics, but I'm on my phone.

Im fixing to put mine up under the middle front seat. I have the work truck matting not carpet. I was thinking about going with under the driver seat then I started to think. If some one has snow on there feet or my retriever is soaked then the water will get to it. So I need to go with a higher spot.

Naw...just get some good Husky Liner, WeatherTech or MOPAR accessory slush mats and you'll be good, otturius. Or use a bit of plastic to mount them up off the floor a bit. If you get enough water under there to inundate them, you got bigger problems than failed amps!
