if you posted that center console for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade section I bet it would be gone in 1-2 days

I believe this would be the case too. You Might even be so lucky as to find someone local that would be willing to pay the labor to have someone do the swap. Nothing out your pocket. Just all the smiles and legroom you could handle.

That explains the odd timing of a vacation.

I was thinking about selling my '11 Ram for a '13 Ram up until I saw pictures of the "STUPID" rotary-dial shifter! Come on! That's the stupidest and ugliest thing I have ever seen.
I, for one, like the bulkiness of the center console. Big means BAD. I don't like column shifters either (like the older trucks still on the roads).
The '13s won't gain much (usable) storage with the removal of the shifter. I think if I were to buy a '13 I'd constantly be 'feeling' for the floor-shifter.

But, hey, that's just my 2 cents!!!!

I respect your opinions. Please respect mine.

Well I'm officially waiting on the rotary shifter before i decide what I wanna do. If I can get a good MPG truck with something like that I'll bite on it. I actually like that idea.

I went with a custom ordered Laramie cause I didn't want the floor shift console. Love the extra roominess of mine. I may have got a sport if I could without the floor shift. The best part of my truck in no console on the floor. Car yes, not in a big truck.
