Default 275 miles... ready for freeway?

So I've put 275 city miles with short bursts of WOT around town. Can I take it on a 30 mile freeway drive yet? I'd like to start driving her to work this week! But I know the break in is important.

I started slow and then after a while slowly progressed to higher speeds, some people on the Z have said they drove it like they stole it from the lot!! I would let the truck break in a bit more, just my opinion. I drove 70 miles round trip and wouldn't go over 65mph for the first 3k, but gradually getting up to speed. Now I've got 33k and can't wait for that speed limit of 85 mph on the toll road around here!!

Conversation between myself and my dealers' service manager the minute I drove mine off the lot: ME- "can't wait to break her in so I can open 'er up" Service manager- "You can open 'er up as soon as you make the turn onto the main road!" ME- "REALLY?" Service manager- "Really! won't hurt a thing, and I will stand behind that 100%" ME- "VROOOOOOOOOOM"

I did the 300 miles just because the manual said so. Gave me peace of mind.

I beat mine like a kinky streetwalker from the get go. No point getting the truck too used to being lazy.

Both of my last 2 trucks came from the lot and went straight into an 11 hour trip 2 days after I got them with speeds around 85-90. They both had around 150 miles on them before the trip but none the less, neither trucks had any issues.

Yeah, I drove it on the interstate home from the dealer. It's fine. Just baby it a little bit for the first 1 or 2 hundred miles. You don't have to baby new engines as much as people think you do. You'll smell something burning, it's the undercoat, it's normal.
