Default Rear camera dead after car wash

The rear camera on my 2010 CC stopped working after going through a touch-free car wash tonight.
At first the camera did display an image but it was broken up similar to what a satellite feed does when it is out of whack. I drove the truck home and it sat for about a half hour and when I backed up the touch screen turns on to display the camera but there is no image now, just a gray screen.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm wondering if water from the high pressure sprayer got in the camera and fried it? Any suggestions what to check out first?

Thanks!

Definitely check the fuse first. If thats good, verify you are getting voltage to the camera. If yes, camera probably shorted out and you could get it warrantied. Keep us posted on whatcha find bud.

first slide under the rear of your Ram
Drivers side, in between the spare tire & the frame, there is a connector, it is for the rear camera, IF it is an OEM stock unit
Take it apart, spray it with some CRC Lectra Clean, or some other good electric spray for automobiles, plug it back in & try it

If that didn't work, that cable that runs from the connector, goes back to the cutout in the body, then through another cut out in the tailgate, another connector may be located there.
Then the cable continues up into the tailgate, take off the access panel in the tailgate, another connector is right close to the tailgate handle & camera

I believe one of those connections is your gremlin
