Default How to Replace Radio on 2012 2500?

Just bought a 2012 2500 ST with the Media Center 130 (RES), with Sirius, and, just picked up a 430N (RHB), does anybody know how to replace the radio?

You just unplug one and plug the other in. You will need to add the GPS antenna though. It goes under the plastic dash cover so it can see the sky to pick up the signals.

Thanks Andy, wasn't aware of the GPS Antenna, I'll have to pick one of those up, are there any instructions on installing that? Or I guess they should come with the antenna, Thanks again,

Thanks for trying, Chrysler is pretty tight, but, they don't mind me sharing my Credit Card number with them!

Something else I just thought about, my 2012 came with a year's subscription to SIRIUS, and I wonder if I can get that transferred from 130 RES to my new 430N RHB ? Anybody run into this situation ? Thanks,

I've heard of a few people on here that called Sirius and had the subscription transferred to the new radio. Give them a call maybe they will suprise you.

If you go to the 2009 Ram group, they have the factory repair manual. I can't imagine that the removal/reinstall info can be that much different from the 12's..

Default Success !

Got my new (semi-new) 430N from Flea Bay, a new take out, and, just took out my 130 RES and popped the 430N RHB in and everything is working! SIRIUS is working, the GPS is working, (haven't tried the other), I just unplugged the big connector, small connector, the yellow and white, plugged into new one, and, was listening to Music, 80s rock ! and brought up the GPS, took 15 minutes, Thanks to everybody here who gave me info !
