Sorry for the bad quality. This was right after an application so it once its cured it comes out as consistent flat black. I was planning on taking a couple of photos before I left town for work but got busy and forgot. I'll try and get a couple more of the truck in better lighting once I get back Friday or Saturday. Not sure how well this stuff plays with clear coat if you're after a shinier look to match or if the flat rough look is the trim or offset color you're after. Hopefully the pics post, first time trying this with an iPad haha.

That doesn't look bad at all. What was your cost? How long did it take you? How easy was the application? How is it holding up?

How do the wheels hold up to the plasti-dip over time?

All in probably $160, but having said that, I started initially with the roll on stuff which I found didn't blend evenly when I applied the second coat (might have been because I was in a time crunch for forgot the accelerator drops which quickens the curing time) and I ended up trying the aerosol stuff due to a buddy recommending it. Easier to apply givin the awkward shapes and corners, less drips and runs but it doesn't have the little rubber bits for texture in it which wasn't a deal breaker, I suspect you could do the whole box on aerosol with 4 cans at $10 a pop roughly, inside and out. I just did mine a couple weeks ago but so far it seems to hold up well, the inside of the box will be the true test, the outside wont see a lot of abuse. My buddy used it on bike parts like skid plates and exhaust shields and such and swears by it if its any indication. A quick clean with a rag and degreaser is all the prep that's needed it seems, maybe a quick once over with a sheet of scotch bright, and a couple days to cover the whole box and cure enough to move to be able to get the bottom and inside and second coat. If anyone has any experience with longevity and prep work I'd be interested, I started out trying to sand and rough but checker plate is time consuming so I winged it a little to be honest. Hope this helps.
