Was it raining when you left FL? I say this because I have seen a 1-2 mpg loss while driving in the rain versus a sunny day. In fact, my best results were during the hottest part of the summer. Also, I've noticed the same typical decrease in mpg while driving at higher speeds....very similar to your results. The sweet spot for my truck seems to be around 60-65mph for best efficiency. Anything above that speed seems to reduce mpg quite a bit.

I use both the computer and hand calc. They match up within a few 0.1 mpg. So as of now I trust my computer read out.

When I left FL and was driving it was 80 and sunny, stopped in SC for gas and the temp had dropped to 50 and started raining. My buddy took over driving, still cruise control at 70 and then we saw the decrease. So must be the rain/cool weather huh? Yea the sweet spot is definitely in that range.....but worthless because the speed limit is 70 and I can manage that but usually want to do 75. I rarely go 65 mph, haha

Yeah, cool air = dense air = greater charge = greater boom... I'm just getting confused...haha Obviously there are MANY MANY variables that play into this
