Default Nightshades/Rustoleum lens tint removal

There are no pictures so i know alot will be disappointed but if you screwed up on you lens tint like i did and made it too dark or have runs/lines in it then this is how you remove it.

Remove the lens from the truck and use regular octane gas and a microfiber cloth. Pour the gas onto the cloth and begin to polish the tint away. depending on how many coats you may have to use some elbow grease but it will all come off without damage to you lens.

I just did this today because i was not happy with the outcome (too dark) and my lights are as glassy and clear as new. afterwards i used hot water and soap to get off the excess and then wiped them down with some windex kitchen degreaser and a paper towel. I guess u could also do this if you needed to remove the tint for inspection. If anyone wants i can take pictures of the after product to show that my lights were unharmed. Ill be trying round 2 of tinting tomorrow and post some pictures also

Default

I used brake cleaning fluid on my tails when I redid them. The tint comes right off. Doesn't hurt the plastic either.
