It will be best to provide your VIN to Chylser Customer Care or your local dealership who will then provide the build sheet. Your factory ratio will be there.

Alternate options is checking your glove box, or there maybe a stamp on your rear axle that indicates the ratio.

Another option is calculating drive shaft rotations to a single tire rotation.

Ran factory 3.55 then went to 4.10's and then to 4.88's and now have 4.56's. The 4.56's is a nice medium but i sure miss the hole shot axle slapping feel of 4.88s

Anyone know a reliable shop around Dallas/fort worth that can do a gear swap in a 2012 2WD? I want either 4.10 or 4.56 but have no idea where to buy them. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg either.

Well I have to agree with the draggers on this,as I was an avid mustang freak a few years ago up until i got britten by the truck bug gears and tire size are very important if you want that holeshot and acceleration. The only drawback to making most mods of this type are you will have to sacrifice your economy to get performance. I would also suggest shorter, fatter, tires and or more gear. A 4.56 is ideal for that nice punch off the line and beleive me stepping up by that much you WILL notice a difference. As for my 97 my hood tag states 3.55 but when doing 70mph and only 2000rpm with 245/65r16's if have to do the math, seems kinda tall to me. I will be swapping out my carrier for an aubern locker and 4.56's with a 285/60r15 dot approved cheater slick (old skool wide white wall) as i am going retro old skool on my build. good luck with you ride and i hope this has helped you in any way.
