Default Auto tilt mirror not returning on pass side

Newbie ram owner here. Have a 2010 Laramie CC and have owned for a few weeks.

I have the OEM tow mirrors and I do like the auto tilt feature when backing up. However, the passenger side mirror doesn't return to the original position. It will only go back about 50% of its original position if this makes sense. Therefore every time I back up I have to readjust the mirror when I start going forward.

Has anyone heard of or experienced this situation? If so, is this a motor issue with the mirror or is it a programming issue that be corrected by having the dealer flash it?

One other quick question...are the power mirror controls supposed to be illuminated when the headlights are on? Mine are not and I didn't know if this is how they are or if I had some burnt bulbs.

Thanks in advance!

The only flash for the door module that controls the power mirrors is regarding the puddle lamps built into some of them. Since you can manually reset it, I suspect a door module problem.

Thanks for the response.
I noticed today that when adjusting either mirror the passenger one moves much slower than the driver's side mirror. The difference is significant.
Is the door module something I need the dealer to confirm?
