Im not sure the reason behind you avoiding exhaust but have you looked into electronic cut outs?? They open a valve in your exhaust when its "race time" and allow air to flow out before the muffler therefore creating a straight through exhaust with just the flip of a switch. Then when its all done you can switch it back which closes it and you will have your stock exhaust back. Really cheap and really easy to install
do u have dyno data from before and after the transmission work? does it give u a higher stall for launching and harder and higher shift points? the E cutout is a great and affordable recommendation. i would have done that had i not have gone with a custom cbe. (i had the money to spend so i spent it on the exhaust) as i dont plan on modding this thing like i did with my subaru legacy gt

well if you want it to accelerate faster more torque overall, to make it have a higher top speed more torque at high RPM. i've never studied the 4.7L so I can't give you any direct answers.

The aftermarket converter doesn't change torque or hp output, just basically the stall rpm. So when you floor it it stalls to a higher rpm. This accelerates you faster because the engine makes more torque at higher rpm.

An aftermarket torque converter may help with drivetrain loss (not much mind you, these transmissions soak up ALOT) and get a few more hp to the wheels, but won't change anything on the engine itself.

What supercharger does he have? Is he selling it?

I know people will go crazy over his cams too as they aren't made anymore...

2wd and 4wd engines are the same. Maybe headers might not fit...and some other minor things.

Don't know why they would have done bottom end work, the 4.7L bottom end is very good stock. It'd take A LOT of power to break the stock crank/rods/pistons. Even more than mild to moderate FI.
