My Ram had the 130 without phone buttons. I first looked at my options for adding the uconnect so I could charge/control my ipod, which turned out to be pretty expensive. So I looked for a new HU and ended up buying the top of the line Pioneer without nav.
Started to install my new P8400BH yesterday. I ended up having the wrong antenna adapter so I halfass threw the dash back together to drive to work today. After work, I went to pick up the proper adapter (and some much needed beer), and finished my install tonight.
My advise to putting a DDIN in your Ram? Take extra time trimming the opening and getting your radio to fit right, it's worth it. I've read that flipping the Metra mounts for either side works for some people. I had to do this at first, but after taking another look today and a little more trimming, I got the mounts on correctly and fitting perfect.
I'm loving the new HU so far. It's quite a step ahead of the DEH-P8600MP I had in my Dakota. The touchscreen is pretty responsive and easy to use, ipod integration rocks, has bluetooth phone capability, and can play video. I bypassed the parking brake video crap with a rocker switch and installed it in the tray in the front of the shifter console so it's hidden (I can get pics if anyone is interested).
