Default 2012 Ram 1500 6'' bds

Hey all, Im thinking about ordering a 6'' bds lift. Im looking to get some 20" Fuel Octane 20x9 -12offset & 4.5backspacing. + 35x12.5x20 TOYO open country MT's. Id like a second taught on my offsets and backspacing so I dont end up with rubbing. Anyone as an idea how far out compare to stock this wheel will stick out? Pretty sure this as been covered a million time but im palcing my order tomorow and wouldnt want to screw up. Anyhow ya'll have a good day!

Just what I am going through too, right now.Sounds like they will stick out half an inch past stock, and would not rub.If they do it would be very little.I'm just waiting on some pic's,to see if I can do the -24mm with 35's as I am running pocket flairs and don't want a goofy look.
I'll let you know as I gather more info.

You will and should not have any rubbing at all.
My current wheels (which will be gone shortly) is 20x9, 0 offset on 37x12.5x20 Trails and I have 1" to my control A arm and Im far away from rubbing my fenders.

That said, -12 is fine and will actually look pretty good as you will have a wider stance

Thanks man, I love the 37'' Look! you see any reason I shouldnt run 37''? Im running 3.92 gearing. You have the parts number for the front bilstein 5100? And did your run 5'' coil out back? do you have the option when you get the lift or yo buy seperatly. anything else?

^ I would like to run something like this. does he have the 5'' coil in the back? plus the spacer 1.25''

Nope. You'll be better off that I was when I had 3.55.
3.92 actually still do well with 37's.
you will see a drop in MPG which is expected, but you'll still have power to move.

I don't have the part numbers for the Bilsteins, but if you check online vendors, you can enter your vehicle year and model and it will lead you to the right shock.
With the 6" RCX kit, there is no option. But it does come with the 5" rear.

Candy08 has the 5" just like I do but he is running a 1.5" rear coil spacer where as I am running a 1" that I will be swapping out to 1.75" shortly.
Or I may purchase the 1.5"
Haven't decided yet.

Thanks man, well the bilstein 5100 are ordered. hard time getting the wheels tho. The bds 6'' lift come with the option of the 3'' rear coil and 5'' or do you get both how does it work?

how did the 20x9 rims look with 37'' tires? in 13.5'' width. I see you were running 20x9, did u go with the 20x10?

With the BDS kit you have to choose either.
Since you purchased the Bilsteins, grab the 5".

20x9 on 37's are fine. In either the 12.5 or 13.5. With 13.5, it will ballon on the sidewalks a tad. Nothing you'll notice.
My new wheels that are coming Monday will be 20x12
