Default Data link problam

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport offroad with the 5.9 liter motor.I recently let some friends of mine use it to move.Well i have a brake controller mounted on right hands side bottom near where Data Link connection is mounted.Well some how my data link connection got either kicked out of its metel mount port.well now i have adata link conectionthat is so damaged that it been pulled part on one side and will not go back togeather.I want to have some advice on either try to make this one work or what i dont even know can you buy that connection and wire it. will be open some body can help me out on what to do.. will not link up to my scan tool.

1st of all welcome to the z... I don't think you can buy a new data link connector like new, but a junk yard might be your best bet. just throwing out and idea
