Default your top 5 things you would change about your Ram.

The list of things I like about my truck could go on for days, but there are a few things I would change.

1. It has no "go."
I expected this 5.7 hemi to be able to roast the tires off without breaking a sweat. I have slammed my foot to the floor dozens of times and it just gently takes off. When I get back in my wife's Nissan Pathfinder, I have to be careful not to spin her tires because her little V6 has so much more zip than this wussy hemi does.

2. No back up camera.
I have a boat, a camper, and a utility trailer that I frequently tow. I really expected that huge screen on the stereo to have a back up camera.

3. No NAV.
Seriously? Why did they even make a version of that head unit without NAV?

4. The DVD video goes away when I put the truck in gear.
I know what you're going to say, I shouldn't be watching it while I drive anyway... But what about my kid in the front seat? Shouldn't he be able to watch it?

5. The FOBIK key system.
This thing is a joke from the word go. Bring back the ability to program your own keys. I paid 40K for the truck, I should be allowed to program my own keys.

The rest are little things like, why didn't they include LCD screens for the back seat? Why is the interconnection with apple products so locked down? Why won't Dodge fix the Hemi tick under warranty? Why do the windows roll down when you hit unlock, but they don't roll back up? What can that possibly be useful for? How about a real alarm and not just a horn honker? No middle front seat means no way for my wife to scoot close when we're driving.

Most likely what you're experiencing is the torque management holding back the performance. Get a tuner(preferrably superchips to adjust the TM and transmission settings) and it's a world of difference.

My list:

1) I want a manual transmission!
2) I want 4.10 gears and LSD
3) I want sport/color matched bumpers and grill

That's all I could come up with...

Is the "superchips" thing something that stays in the truck? Or is it something that I can go and have done at the shop and not have to buy the $400 tool?

If I only need it once to program the computer, I'd rather just take it down and have it done.

almost everything you dont like about your truck could of been had from the factory. im guessing you bought off the lot without thinking what suited you best.
but good news is you can still change all these things to make your truck more to your liking.

I envy a few things about the Tundra:

1) Entire back glass slides down
2) Back bench seat which slides back and forth

I bought a back up camera for my Ram through the Dodge Parts Dept.
they can be found cheaper on eBay
they come with the camera, wiring, & an installation CD, you could install it yourself
you may need to buy a different tailgate handle, or modify your current one
i believe it has to be Flashed by the dealer to work

The programmers are available for your Ram, several brands are available

it sounds like you have the RBZ 430 touch screen radio
the RHB 430N does have Navigation, but it also a much higher priced unit & you have to pay for updated maps every couple years, at $178 for each update
buy a Garmin Nuvi with Lifetime Maps & Traffic
or a Smartphone with Navigation APP

Chrysler does not want the LIABILITY for In Motion Video
but you can buy a Lockpick or ALLGIG after market bypass to have Video in Motion

The Liability issue also comes into play with the Windows Down function
a window going down can't normally catch a hand, head, or paw in it, if you just press the FOB & are not watching the windows movement
If you could make the window close by pressing the FOB & were not playing attention to the movement, it could pinch something between the glass & the top of the window frame

So we are looking at the FOB, it is a electronic communication device
much like your garage door opener
If you were to program your own garage door, you may press your remote & open not only your door, but your neighbors as well,
My FOB looses communication with the Ram's electronics every once in a while, i just remote start the Ram, it always seems to work, then i unlock my doors, i only do that when i can't get the FOB to unlock the doors by the 2nd or 3rd attempt
