Default P1740 code

Hello I am new to the forum and new to dodge trucks i have owned many dodge cars including a 2003 PT cruiser which we bought new and still own with great service now to the question. The 2001 ram 4x4 gives the P1740 code which i think is TCC or overdrive solenoid. The transmission does fine far as i can tell no issues shifting and goes in and out of overdrive fine. I can turn overdrive off and it works good and going down road turn on and it goes in overdrive good too. as for the lock up far as i can tell it works also is there a way to make sure on the lock up converter ? any ideas on what to try would be great like should i change the solenoid ..... thanks for the help and i love my ram so far

your right on code. On most of my cars that have overdrive in them you can feel torqe converter unlock just before it shifts into O/D or watch tac and you can see rpm's drop just before shift. Now weather or not to change that's a differnt story. Check plug first for dirt or corrosion if prob persists change sensor.
