Default Starting problems

i bought a ram 1500 with a 360 magnum. it was very good until two weeks after purchase. when i would try and start it sometimes it would fire up like a normal truck but others it will crank over for 6-12 seconds and then fire up. anybody know whats happening??

When it does start does it stay running and is the throttle response normal ? Also, are there any codes, i.e. is the Check Engine Light on ?

I would suspect fuel pressure bleeding off after the truck sits for a while.
