Default Headlight won't adjust!

Had a headlight (low beam) burn out on my 2010 1500 so changed both out last week. After diving at night for the first time I realize both lights are aimed way too low. I located the adjustment screw and the driver side easily adjusted, but the passenger side will not move at all. I removed the screw and reinserted an it still won't adjust. Any suggestions on what to do?

Oh and to top this off my driver side low beam just went out again.... Guess I'll be working on this for a while

First off and I don't mean to offend but you aren't touching the bulbs when you install them correct?

Secondly that is strange but you said you added new bulbs so I imagine you had to take out your headlights. Are you 100% certain you reinstalled them correctly? Just simple easy things to check!

Good luck!

I made sure not to touch the bulbs.... no offense taken.

They seem to both be properly installed the adjustment screw just doesn't seem to be catching on the passenger side light. The adjust screw is very small and not sure exactly what it's turning within the housing? Called the dealership and they didn't have a clue. A new housing is $285 there. Although I'm sure I can find it cheaper elsewhere.

May be time to upgrade lights. Any suggestions of something that's plug and play? I don't want to have to do any other mod.

Are you wanting to upgrade your lighting to HIDs or just a new set of lights? Either way I would check out retroshop . us.
They have headlights for 195 for a pair, or you can go the HID route and it is more because they are projectors with the HID's in them

Still it's just strange that you can't adjust that side... I am confused as well. What I would do is take your headlight out, stick your ratchet on the adjusting screw and start turning to see what it is trying to turn if anything or if something is in fact broken.
